Description
Inspired by Victorian mourning rings, the Thrinos Ring explores love, remembrance and the enduring bonds that transcend time. Two hand-carved skeleton lovers reach towards one another in a final embrace, cradling either a rich synthetic ruby or a natural black spinel at the heart of the composition.
Originally sculpted in wax and handcrafted using traditional metalsmithing techniques, the Thrinos Ring transforms the symbolism of memento mori into a contemporary relic—an heirloom piece created to be worn, treasured and passed from one generation to the next.

Made To Order
This piece is made specifically for you.
Please allow 2–4 weeks for production before dispatch. Each piece is individually crafted, meaning subtle variations may occur — a reflection of the handmade process rather than replication.
Craft & Ethos
Each piece is designed and crafted in Saltaire, UK - a UNESCO world heritage site.
Forms are shaped using time-honoured silversmithing techniques, or begin as hand sculpted forms of wax, then cast and refined in precious metal. All stone setting is carried out in-house, allowing complete control over finish, balance, and detail.
Production is intentionally kept small and considered. Pieces are created either to order or in limited runs, reducing excess and supporting a more responsible use of materials and energy.
All precious metals used are recycled, and gemstones are ethically sourced. Where a stone is lab-created or synthetic, this is always stated with full transparency.
From making to eco-conscious packaging, every stage is handled with care and attention — nothing is rushed, nothing is outsourced without intention.
Care Info
Your piece is made to be worn and lived in, but mindful care will preserve its finish.
- Avoid contact with chemicals, perfumes, and lotions
- Remove during heavy activity, swimming, or showering
- Gold plated pieces should be removed before water exposure, to maintain the longevity of the plated finish
- Store separately to avoid scratching
Over time, metals will naturally develop a patina. This is part of the piece’s character, but can be gently polished if a brighter finish is preferred.
